The Evangelical Board “is charged with the overall responsibility for Promoting the ministry of evangelism as ordained by the Great Commission mandated by our Lord, Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20. The Board seeks to inculcate the principles of evangelism in every area of the Convention’s life and work.”
FOREIGN MISSION BOARD
The Foreign Mission Board has the overall responsibility for promoting the mission ministry of the Convention abroad in response to the Great Commission enunciated by our Lord, Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20. The Foreign Mission Board is charged with carrying out foreign mission work in ministry with local Christians and church bodies to complete the Biblical assignment of the church of Jesus Christ. As authorized by the Convention, the Foreign Mission Board authorized persons beyond the local church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in areas that are without witnesses, to win souls to Christ, and to establish functioning local congregations for the continued witness to the faith.

HOME MISSION BOARD
The Home Mission Board, in collaboration with the Convention’s objectives, is charged with the overall responsibility of promoting the Home Mission Ministry of the Convention in response to the Great Commission enunciated by our Lord Jesus Christ. The ministry of the Home Mission Board is designed to provide financial assistance to mission preachers, pastors, churches, and individuals experiencing dire financial need; provide assistance to churches and areas stricken by disasters and acts of God, and provide disciplining techniques and training through symposia, workshops and seminars in leadership and church growth; promote the Home Mission ministry of the LAHFMBSC, Inc., through a marketing ministry, and keep alive a communications network with all churches in the State Convention.
